The Daily Check-in is gaining streaks, but not the guilt-trip kind. A streak in U-Crew measures honesty kept, not moods performed: it survives bad days, pauses for crossings, and never turns your wellbeing into a score you can fail. Here is how the design works.
Streaks are the most requested feature from beta crews, and the most dangerous to build. A streak that rewards saying you are fine is worse than no streak at all. So the design brief was strict: reward the habit, never the answer.
A U-Crew streak counts days you checked in, whatever you said. A run of honest rough days extends it exactly as much as a run of great ones. It pauses automatically for crossings and off-grid stretches rather than punishing them, and losing a streak changes precisely nothing about what you see in your own trend line, which remains the only prize that matters.
Streaks reach beta crews in the next build. As ever, the private line stays private: a streak is between you and the habit, not you and an audience.
